Find out about shared ownership at drop-in session
24 April 2014
Local residents can find out about the shared ownership schemes available in the borough at a special event on Monday 28 April. The drop-in session will offer advice on opportunities to purchase and finance with a chance to speak to Council staff and local housing associations.
Cllr Sarah Creedy, Lead Councillor for Housing and Social Welfare says: “For many people shared ownership offers the best way to get a foot on the housing ladder. Come along and find out more about the opportunities for shared ownership. Our friendly team will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have.”
The event, which takes place at the Council’s Millmead offices from 4pm-8pm, will offer information on:
• current vacancies in Guildford town centre
• properties soon to be completed at Ripley and Elgin Gardens
• the cost of purchasing through shared ownership
• help to buy through other government schemes.
The event is open to anyone who lives or works in Guildford.
