Leaflet - Westwood Lane, Normandy
These works are for the full reconstruction of the pavement and as such kerb line and stones may be adjusted. The road will NOT be closed.
In the attached leaflet, we have explained that anyone using an unofficial vehicle crossover should apply for one so they may continue parking on their property.
This may raise some enquires, but simply put:
If they have an existing official crossover then it will be put back as it is now, and they can continue to use it. If they are not sure if they have an official crossover they can check their deeds, house paperwork, or call us to check.
If residents are using low kerbs as an unofficial crossover, then our works will raise these so they will be unable to cross them. They need to either stop using the pavement to park on their property, or apply for a crossover - Vehicle crossovers or dropped kerbs - Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk)
The works are scheduled to start on 11th July. Sometimes our plans must change, often due to bad weather or problems on other works in the same programme which can have a knock-on effect. residents can also find up to date details of the works on www.surreycc.gov.uk/roadworks
If any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on 0300 200 1003 or email works.communication@surreycc.gov.uk.
