Calling All Amateur Bakers! – Queen’s Jubilee Sunday 5th June

If you enjoy baking a scrumptious cake now and then or a tray of delicious biscuits then why not take part in the Normandy Platinum Jubilee Baking Competition. This competition is part of the Jubilee celebrations being held by Normandy Parish Council on Sunday 5th June. The competition is open to all amateur bakers residing in Normandy and the local area.

There are 3 age categories, adult 16 + years, children 8-15 years and children 7 years and under. The requirements for each of these categories are listed on the entry form along with the rules of the competition. You can use a favourite recipe of your own choice and follow the guidelines for the category you are entering. For the children 7 years and under category the biscuits can either be home made using a favourite recipe or if preferred can be bought and then decorated.

Baking Competition form

Completed entry forms must be received by Wednesday 1st June. Please post or deliver to:- The Parish Clerk, Sam Lane, 62 Glaziers Lane, Normandy GU3 2DQ.  Baking entries of cakes, cupcakes or biscuits must be received in the Small Hall, Normandy Village Hall, Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, GU3 2DD between 9.15 and 10 am. on Sunday 5th June. The fee of £1 per entry will be collected and Normandy Parish Council will donate all monies to charity.
